In addition, during the late 60's through early 90's, Atlas-Tuck Concrete developed a Construction Division, performing work on state and municipal construction projects such as street paving, bridge building, and concrete water canal structures. In the early 90's we acquired our first portable plant and have utilized it on various projects in Oklahoma and Texas since that time.

In 1998 Atlas-Tuck Concrete's primary owner, Fallis A. Beall, merged two of his other ready mix operations expanding our presence into Tuttle and Chickasha, Oklahoma. In 2000, all other operating entities Mr. Beall owned were merged in to Atlas-Tuck which included a trucking operation and 2 additional ready mix operations in Duncan and Frederick which enabled coverage over a large portion of southwest Oklahoma. Shortly after those mergers in the same year Atlas-Tuck Concrete became a subsidiary of U.S. Concrete, Inc.
